BackCare Awareness Week
11th - 15th October 2010

BackCare - the charity for healthier backs runs BackCare Awareness Week each year, to promote awareness of back pain, prevention and treatments. For 2010 their theme is "Beyond the Box" and applies at work, home and play.

The aim is to highlight good practise when lifting anything, not just heavy loads.

In conjunction with this, Total Balance is offering free Postural Assessments and Spinal Alignment checks to anyone in the Aberdeen area who would like to visit the Total Balance Clinic between the 11th and 15th October.

It may also be possible to arrange assessment days within your business, so please contact us by email if you would like to arrange this.

So, if you have any back or neck discomfort, then why not contact us by email to secure your assessment. Appointments are strictly limited and on a first-come-first served basis.

 Due to the success of this event, the offer of a free Postural Assessment has been extended until the end of October 2010.

Charity Event   

23rd October 2010, Kingswells Community Centre

This Charity Event, showcasing local health and beauty businesses and crafts is being held in the evening of 23rd October, with the aim of raising funds for Aberdeen Charities including Clan, Archie and Anchor.

Total Balance will be exhibiting at the event, offering massage, Postural Assessments and the Bowen Technique throughout the evening. Please come early to secure your place.

Other exhibitors include: Jewellery; Children's hair slides; Chocolates; Linen and bedcovers; Cards and stationery; Skin care and make-up; Portraits and much more.

Tickets, priced at £5 are limited and the price includes a glass of wine. There will also be a raffle on the night.
