Jackie Farmer Profile

Jackie is an experienced, professional, multi-disciplinary Complementary Therapy Practitioner with a clinic in Teesdale where she offers both remedial and relaxation treatments to clients of all ages. To date, the youngest person I have treated was 2 weeks old and the oldest aged 97.

Jackie's ethos is "finding the root cause of a body's imbalance enables me to give the most appropriate treatment and achieve faster results". Re-establishing good structure in the body allows the body to perform better and training to become more effective.

Jackie, the founder of Total Balance, is an Advanced Level Bowen Practitioner; holds Diplomas in Holistic Therapy and Oriental Body Balance plus many other Complementary Therapies."I just love helping rebalance the body" says Jackie.

With a wealth (over 19 years) of experience in the treatment of clients with stress-related conditions, injuries, back and neck pain and digestive imbalances, Jackie has helped so many people improve the quality of their lives.

Prior to moving to Aberdeen, Jackie

  • ran her own private clinic
  • established a Return to Work Clinic for absentee employees of Warrington Borough Council
  • developed a well-utilised Complementary Therapies Clinic for employees of Warrington Borough Council
  • offered relaxation treatments to the staff of Air Miles and the Environment Agency and
  • co-ordinated Well-being Projects for the co-workers of Ikea.

Following her passion for better posture, Jackie has also developed the Posture Monitor.
